Features

TMC Periphery Grinder

  •
  • TMC Periphery Grinding Machine is a device that grinds insert tips used in various industries such as the automotive and robotics industries, where high-speed processing is required. Our Periphery grinding machines are equipped with various cutting-edge technologies to meet customer demands and keep up with the increasing demand and standards. We manufacture and retrofit grinding machines of various sizes, and also provide ongoing maintenance services.

  • TMC grinding machines can be adjusted to meet the following operational requirements:
  •
  •  -   X and Y-axis work areas and wheel sizes can be selected to handle various types of workpieces.

  •  -  Gantry robots (or multi-joint robots) can be added, allowing for manpower and time savings during loading and unloading.
  •
  •  -   The dressing device and its automatic correction function can extend the lifespan of the grinding tool and improve the quality of processed products.
  •
  •  -   Furthermore, using a probe, will ensure the accuracy of the workpiece and its quality.
  •

TMC CAM - Periphery Software

  •

  •

  • TMC CAM - Periphery is proprietary software enables the operators fast design and processing of a product's 3D model. In addition, it communicates in real-time with grinding machines to automatically generate the necessary G CODE for final grinding in formats such as FANUC and Siemens.

  •

  •

  • TMC CAM - Camshaft features an easy-to-use interface and provides intuitive 2D and 3D modeling capabilities for product shapes. It also minimizes machining errors and enables quick response to modifications by verifying product designs through machining simulation before processing.

  •  -   With simple inputs such as product angles, clearance angles, and relief angles, product design and production can be completed easily.
  •
  •  -   Alternatively, using absolute coordinates (x, y) and incremental values (angle, length) like CAD, special products of desired shapes can also be produced..
  •

  •

  • By registering frequently used wheels through Tool Manager, it is easy to manage tools, and even when replacing products, the tool list can be loaded and reused without creating a new tool.

  • TMC CAM - Periphery allows for multi-stage detailed cutting conditions, enabling faster and more efficient processing.
  •
  •  -   Different grinding wheels can be selected for each stage to reduce rough and finish grinding time.

  •  -   Feed, depth of cut per traverse, grinding speed, oscillation width, and spark-out count can be set for each stage.
  •
  •  -   When generating G CODE for corner R, subdivision angles can be refined up to 0.01 degrees, allowing for higher-quality finished products.
  •
  •  -   It reads the dressing status and wheel data of the grinding wheel in real-time to generate G CODE, minimizing unnecessary processing time and improving product accuracy.
  •
  •  -  It supports various grinding methods such as oscillation, zigzag, plunge cut, etc. which suitable for different cutting materials.

SIEMENS HMI

  •
  •
  •
  •

  •
  • In addition to the software, the provided HMI allows for easy operation of various tasks such as checking the equipment's coordinate values and data, setting the pallet of the loader, and performing coordinate teaching with simple touch commands. The system has a high level of integration, providing seamless operation between software and HMI.

The Expectation and Benefit of Ours

  •
  •  -   Improved productivity and accuracy in product design.
  •
  •  -   Time reduction from product conception to processing and maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness due to shortened product tact time.
  •
  •  -   Ability to produce high-precision and high-quality products.
  •
  •  -   When overhauling manual or used grinding machines and installing software, they can be operated as CNC grinding machines at a minimum cost.
  •
  •  -   Production of a variety of products, including standard and complex special products.
  •
  •  -   Production of carbide tools, PCD, CBN, special tools, form tools, and wipe edges (big radius).
